More About Script…
General Information
House is a ministry-focused non-profit organization that offers performing arts education to homeschool students. The House Choral Program is not just an isolated choir or co-op, but rather one centralized program where students can begin young and move up through the ensembles as their age and increased ability allows them to. We provide our students with the same choral performance and vocal scholarship opportunities that public schoolers have in their choral programs, in addition to training our students in music theory, sight singing, vocal health, and cultural musicianship.
Course Information
All of these classes are designed to build a confident, empathetic, and well-rounded actor. Students will be allowed to explore different styles of acting and develop their skills, all while learning the importance of human connection and teamwork. Theatre is such an important place for young learners, giving them the space and tools to explore and discover things about themselves and developing skills that will serve them well wherever they decide to go in life!
Each season will culminate with an end-of-year project. We have designed an open-ended concept where the unique skills and passions of our students determine the individual year’s outcome, which ranges from full-length plays, shorts, improvisation, featured local playwrights, and more!
Script House is a wonderful avenue for fostering a student’s character on stage and in life!
