Who Can Enter:

Open to all current HOUSE students enrolled in:

  • Stage, Crew, Costumes, Hair and Makeup, Choir, Dance, ACT, and Worship Collective

  • The 2026-2027 theme is “More Than a Stage”

    • What does that theme mean to you in your artwork?

    • HOUSE is community, discipleship, growth, creativity, and ministry ~ not just performances.

    • We want to see original designs that reflect the heart, creativity, faith, friendship, growth, and community that make HOUSE special to you.

    • The Image may represent the whole of the Performing Arts we do here at House - not any one specific branch.

    • For this year, students are designing the ONE IMAGE to be considered for the 2026-2027 House Theatre shirt.

Timeline:

  • Entry Timeline:

    June 1, 2026-June 30, 2026

  • Community Voting Opens: Wednesday, July 8 – Wednesday, July 15

  • Finalists Revealed: July 20, 2026

  • Winner Revealed: Monday, July 27th HOUSE Parent-Teacher Meeting

  • Shirt Orders Open: late August, early September 2025

Prizes + Recognition:

  • The top three finalists will be announced on social media, with the final winning design featured on official HOUSE shirts across the program!

  • Finalists will also be spotlighted on our social media platforms and featured in our digital gallery.

  • The winning design will be officially unveiled at Meet-the-Teacher on July 27th.

Terms & Conditions (Keepin' It Real):

  • Reminder: All submissions must be original and created by the enrolled student, grades 1st - 12th.

  • Limit one entry per student.

  • By entering, you give HOUSE Theatre permission to reproduce, print, and share your artwork for HOUSE use (shirts, print, social media, etc.).

  • HOUSE reserves the right to modify submitted artwork for printing purposes (e.g., adjusting colors, sizing, add text).

  • This contest is not affiliated with or endorsed by any show, licensing company, etc.

  • Tie-breakers/Final decisions on winners and printing are at the discretion of HOUSE leadership.

  • STAGE shirts will NOT be eligible for merchandise sales to the public as this shirt contains licensed show graphics.

HOUSE Student Art Contest 2026

Does your student have a creative eye and a passion for the arts? Whether a choir, crew, dance, instrumental, script, stage student … we want to see your creativity come to life! This is your chance to create original art inspired by your HOUSE class experience.

Your artwork could be featured on HOUSE shirts, shared with our community, and recognized at our Parent-Teacher Meeting in August!

Submission Requirements:

  • Artwork must be 100% original and student-created. No traced, copied, or AI-generated art.

  • Artwork must be submitted digitally as a high-quality scan or photo. No physical submissions accepted.

  • File format: JPG or PNG, max size 10MB (no HEIC)

  • Include: Student’s full name, age, and class

  • Send to: SUBMIT HERE (or below)

  • Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026

  • Student must be enrolled in House Theatre 2026-2027 at the time of submission.

Design Guidelines:

  • NO Show Titles

  • No text.

  • Do not use ANY official, licensed artwork.

  • Keep content family-friendly, respectful, and reflective of the values of HOUSE.

  • Artwork should work well in one or two ink colors only.

  • Maintain simple lines.

  • Keep in mind that extremely detailed or highly multicolored designs may not translate well to print.

  • Non-adherence to the contest guidelines and T&Cs will result in immediate disqualification.

  • Review the Theme and interpret it into your art.
