What is VOLUNTEER SUPPORT?
HOUSE Theatre thrives on community, stewardship, and shared responsibility. To continue operating with excellence and integrity, all families must actively support the mission ~ either through volunteer service or a modest financial contribution that helps offset staffing needs.
This establishes a clear, equitable, and sustainable volunteer expectation while ensuring meaningful opportunities for our growing community of approximately 300 families.
2026-2027 Commitment Requirement
How? All families must volunteer or remit the Volunteer Support Fee.
Fee: If you waive the volunteer position, a fee of $75 is due.
Families who do not commit or submit the fee within 30 days to the start of Semester 1 cannot remain enrolled and the student’s spot(s) will be released to the next name on the waitlist.
Expectation is per family, not per student.
NOTE: A background check of $25 is required for all volunteers.
You will only be assigned days in which your child is enrolled. i.e. if your child is only taking classes on Monday, your volunteer assignment will be on a Monday.
2026-2027 Schedule
Year View: There is a potential to serve 4 shifts per year. A shift may be 1-2.5 hours.
Schedule: Rotations have the potential to allow for serving once every 6-8 weeks. This will reduce volunteer and staff burnout by creating a healthy system.
Note: Funds support paid staff when volunteers are unavailable and offset administrative coordination
