COSTUMING FOR STAGE
What to Expect
This course offers students a practical look into the world of theatrical costumes, from concept to construction to performance. Students will explore how costumes support storytelling, character development, and production design while learning foundational sewing and garment construction skills.
Class size is limited to 5 students per class to allow for individualized instruction and proper safety.
A sewing machine is required for participation
Students should be prepared for hands-on work and guided practice each week
This class is ideal for students who enjoy working behind the scenes, have an interest in design or craftsmanship, or want to explore an essential aspect of theatrical production in a small-group setting.
2026-2027 Tuition and Fees
Tuition: $195.00 each semester
Materials Fee: One-time fee, $50.00
Facilities Fee: Per-family, per semester $15 (for Northwood)
Operations Support: One time per family fee of $25. This supports our enhanced security and operational procedures program-wide.
