What to Expect

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of theatrical hair and makeup, focusing on how visual design supports character, storytelling, and stage presence. Students will learn age-appropriate techniques used in live performance while developing an understanding of hygiene, safety, and professional practices.

• Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure individualized instruction

• Students should be comfortable participating in hands-on demonstrations and practice in a small class setting.

• Any additional required personal tools or products will be communicated prior to the start of class. Your materials fee goes directly to the purchase of class supplies.

This class is ideal for students who enjoy working behind the scenes, have an interest in design or craftsmanship, or want to explore an essential aspect of theatrical production in a small-group setting.
